Hyperledger Fabric is a foundation with a motive to leverage familiar and proven technologies to offer a modular architecture for smart contracts and Decentralized Apps.

In order to understand Hyperledger fabric model, we need to first understand about Assets. Assets can vary from the tangible assets like real estate or hardware tool intangible assets like patents, copyrights or intellectual property. Hyperledger fabric offers the potential to alter assets using chain code transactions. Hyperledger fabric is a collection of key-value pairs, with state changes recorded as transactions on a Channel ledger. Assets can be represented in binary and/or JSON form.

Chaincode, or a smart contract is a fragment of code written in supported languages like Golang that is deployed onto a network of Hyperledger Fabric peer nodes. Chaincode is software defining an asset or assets, and the transaction instructions for modifying the asset(s); in other words, it’s the business logic. The ledger is comprised of a blockchain (‘chain’) to store the immutable, sequenced record in blocks, as well as a state database to maintain current fabric state.

There will be one ledger per channel. Each peer maintains a copy of the ledger for each channel of which they are a member. Chaincodes run network transactions which are validated and then appended to the shared ledger.

At Piccosoft, we have the right team, who have the expertise with the use of Hyperledger fabric for blockchain development and NFT.  We also have experts in Golang technology, who can develop Chaincodes.
